This past Friday I had Jeff and Grant on the boat for a half day trip. Hard north winds have been blowing the past 2 days and I knew the water in the bay would be muddied up pretty good. I Rounded the corner to East Matagorda and it looked like a mud bowl. We went and fished some scattered mud and shell tight to the shore line throwing dark colored gulp under a popping cork while the first cast out ended taking a keeper red. I knew it was going to be on after that. We made 3 short drifts picking up there limit of reds we ease and in the mix we caught a couple nice trout also. Fishing is only getting better and I have plenty of dates that need to be filled so give me a call and lets go fishing!!
